Actel ponúka vývojové nástroje zadarmo.
  • FPGA časť
    Libero IDE - vývojový nástroj a design manažér pre FPGA Actel.
    Po registrácii je zdarma dostupná verzia Libero IDE v9.0 Eval (pre Windows, pre Linux bude až v 06.2010).
    Actel ponúka aj FREE Gold licenciu pre členov a používateľov SmartFusion rodiny.
  • Embedded časť (ARM)
    SoftConsole - FREE vývojový nástroj a C, C++ kompilér pre Actel procesory Cortex™-M3, Cortex-M1, a Core8051s.
    Beží na Eclipse jadre, a o preklad sa stará GNU C/C++ kompilér pre ARM, a SDCC kompilér pre 8051.
  • Analógová časť
    MSS configurator - pomocou grafického rozhrania umožňuje konfiguráciu analógového bloku.
