Spoločnosť TOSHIBA Electronics Europe GmbH, predstavila nový mikroprocesor určený predovšetkým pre použitie v v priemysle a v domácich spotrebičoch (je v súlade s bezpečnostným štandartom IEC60730).

Jedná sa o TMPM380FY. Je to jadro ARM Cortex™-M3, s FLASH pamaťou 256kB a RAM 16kB, zabalené v 100-pinovom QFP, alebo LQFP púzdre.

Vlastnosti

• ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller core
  - New 16-bit Thumb® instructions for improved program flow
  - New 32-bit Thumb instructions for improved performance
  - Auto-switching between 32-bit instruction and 16-bit instruction is executed by compiler.
  - A 32-bit multiplication (32×32=32 bit) can be executed with one clock
  - Division takes between 2 and 12 cycles depending on dividend and devisor
  - Optimized design using a low power consumption library
  - Standby function that stops the operation of the microcontroller core
  - An interruptible long instruction
  - Stack push automatically handled by hardware
