- Enhanced version (v2.0) of free KPIT Eclipse is released with support for Renesas SHC v9.3.0 toolchains. The IDE also supports KPIT GNUH8 ELF and KPIT GNUSH ELF toolchains integration.
- KPIT GNU Eclipse is now KPIT Eclipse.
- Users can now create and build projects using Renesas SHC toolchains, KPIT GNUSH toolchains and KPIT GNUH8 toolchains all in a single IDE.
- SHC projects can be debugged using HEW, which can be trivially launched from KPIT Eclipse v2.0.
- KPIT Eclipse v2.0 is released with full support for subversion (SVN) version control repositories and TRAC/Bugzilla bugtracking and task management support.
- Japanese language support has been added to KPIT Eclipse v2.0. Hence users can now view the KPIT Eclipse IDE in Japanese on Japanese Windows. This feature can be enabled during installation.
- Extensive documentation has been provided with the KPIT Eclipse IDE. Users can get detailed information (tooltips) about the toolchain options by hovering over the options categories.
