Atmel rozšíril rodinu MCU AT90SO - rodinu secureAVR® mikrokontrolérov o AT90S04.
Low- power, high-performance, 8-/16-bit secureAVR® mikrokontrolér s 96 Kbytovou ROM a 4 Kbytovou EEPROM pamäťou.
Konekivitu zabezpečujú (multiplexne): High-Speed SPI, I²C/TWI, GPIO alebo ISO7816-3.
Disponuje hardwérovým DES/TDES, RNG, CRC a softwérovým AES.
Navrhnutý pre splnenie EAL4+ bezpečnostných kritérií.
