Spoločnosť Micrium, upravila licenčnú politiku svojho produktu μC/OS a tak sa dočkáme aj voľnej verzie tohoto RTOS.

Nové rozdelenie licencií umožňuje bezplatné použitie u domácich používateľov, študentov a nizkopríjmové spoločnosti (start-up).
